• We are celebrating eye donation fortnight from 25 August 2012 to 8 September 2012. During this fortnight we are trying to create awareness for eye donation, fight out superstitions, miss beliefs and wrong notions among the masses. For this purpuse we have created a poster. We request all o f you to download the poster, take printout and display it at various prominent places such as your office, school, college, house etc and inspire people to donate their eyes.

Without the support of volunteers,our efforts would be greatly compromised due to the associated cost of staffing. Therefore we are requesting you to do some volunteering for Drishti 2012.

Drishti 2012 Creative Contest Declared Open

Agra | 22 March 2012 | After the grand success of Drishti 2011,Antardrishti today announced the schedule of Drishti 2012 creative contest to be held in Agra for the promotion of eye donation. Like previous year entries are invited in four categories i.e. Short Film,Poster,Design and Audio Jingle on the theme of eye donation.
Agra will remain the capital of Antardrishti for its work for the promotion of eye donation and the final culmination of the contest will be held in the city with prize distribution ceremony and a two-day film festival. Shortlisted films and selected entries of other three creative contests will be showcased during the festival.  Besides film show and exhibition of creative contest entries other attractions of the festival would be performances and presentations by visually impaired students and artists across the country. Highlighing the acheivements of Drishti 2011,team member Deepti Pant said that this year participation is expected to be bigger than the previous year.
Festival will be held in the month of October,2012 and exact date and schedule of the festival would be announced two months prior to the festival so that volunteers willing to participate from other parts of country can make their travel arrangements.
Last date of the submitting the entries in all four categories is 10th August,2012. Any citizen of India irrespective of age can participate in the contest.  There is no entry fee for the contest. To provide a level play field only individuals are allowed to participate in the contest and entries from productions houses and organizations shall not be entertained.  A three member independent jury of noted professional and imminent citizens will screen all entries and decide Golden Eye and Silver Eye in all four categories. Drishti Yatra 2011 has already got a kick start from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan,Agra with an overwhelming response and participation. In these Drishti Yatras short listed films of previous year’s film contest are being screened with presentation and other activities for the promotion of eye donation. Drishti Yatra 2011 will visit 13 major cities across India with similar programmes. Cities of current year Drishti Yatra include Delhi,Mumbai,Bangalore,Chennai,Hyderabad,Kolkata,Luknow,Patna etc.  With the objective for the promotion of eye donation Drishti is seeking coordination with local eye banks and hospitals. In these Yatras so far 468 people have volunteered themselves for the eye donations and issued certificates.
While addressing the Press Conference Drishti 2012 team member and senior journalist Mr Prashant Tandon said that coming months will see further expansion of programmes for the promotion of eye donation and more active associations with like-minded volunteers and organizations. He told media persons that many such proposals have been received and are under active consideration keeping in view of large area of work to be done in this field.

Golden Eye winner Nivedtia Majumdar joins the team:

Mr Akhil Srivastava CEO of Antardrishti – a non profit organization behind Drishti 2012 announced inclusion of Nivedita Majumdar as the member of core team. Nivedita is the winner of Drishti 2011 Golden Eye award for her film “Ritu wants 2 C”. Welcoming Nivedita on board  Mr Srivastava said that Ms Majumdar will add new dimension to the work undertaken by us with her devotion to the cause and outstanding skills. Nivedita Majumdar -a film maker and classical dancer lives in Kolkata.       
Drishti 2011 was the first ever film and creative contest and festival on promotion of eye donation held in Agra on December 10 and 11,2011 at St Johns College with an excellent participation by all sections of people of Agra.

‘दृष्‍टी 2012’ क्रिएटिव कांटेस्‍ट की घोषणा

‘दृष्‍टी 2011’ की अपार सफलता के बाद,‘अंतरदृष्‍टी‘ संगठन नेत्रदान को बढ़ावा देन के लिए आज ‘दृष्‍टी 2012’ क्रिएटिव कांटेस्‍ट के कार्यक्रम की घोषणा कर रहा है। पिछले साल की तरह इस बार भी नेत्रदान विषय पर चार श्रेणियों यानी लघु फिल्‍म,पोस्‍टर,डिजाइन और ऑडिया जिंगल के लिए प्रविष्टियां (एंट्रीज) आमंत्रित की जा रही है।
नेत्रदान को बढ़ावा देन के लिए ‘अंतरदृष्‍टी‘ की गतिविधि का केंद्र आगरा रहेगा।  प्रतियोगिता के अंतिम दौर में शहर में पुरस्‍कार वितरण समारोह ओर दो दिवसीय फिल्‍म फेस्टिवल आयोजित होगा। चुनी गई फिल्‍मे एवं क्रिएटिव कांटेस्‍ट की प्रविष्टियां फेस्टिवल के दौरान प्रदर्शित की जाएंगी। फेस्टिवल में फिल्‍म शो और प्रदर्शिनी के साथ-साथ आकर्षण का केंद्र देश भर से आए नेत्रहीन छात्रों और कलाकारों की प्रस्‍तुतियां होंगी। ‘दृष्‍टी 2012’ टीम के सदस्‍या दीप्‍ती पंत ने बताया कि इस वर्ष प्रतियोगिता में शामिल होने वालों की संख्‍या पिछले साल की तुलना में काफी ज्‍यादा होने की उम्‍मीद है। फेस्टिवल अक्‍टूबर 2012 में आयोजित किया जाएगा और तारीख व कार्यक्रम की घोषणा फेस्टिवल के दो महीने पहले की जाएगी,ताकि देश के अन्‍य हिस्‍सों से भाग लेने को तैयार स्‍वयंसेवक अपनी यात्रा की व्‍यवस्‍था कर सकें।
सभी चार श्रेणियों में प्रविष्टियां जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 10 अगस्‍त,2012 है। इस प्रतियोगिता में किसी भी उम्र के भारतीय नागरिक भाग ले सकते हैं। प्रतियोगिता के लिए किसी भी तरह का प्रवेश शुल्‍क नहीं है। समान अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए केवल व्‍यक्तियों को कांटेस्‍ट में भाग लेने की अनुमति दी गई है। प्रोडक्‍शन हाउस और संगठनों से आने वाली प्रविष्टियों पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा। सभी प्रविष्टियों की स्‍क्रीन और सभी चार श्रेणियों में गोल्‍डेन आई व सिल्‍वर आई एवार्ड का चुनाव विख्‍यात पेशेवर और प्रतिष्ठित नागरिकों का तीन सदस्‍यीय स्‍वतंत्र ज्‍यूरी करेगी।
‘दृष्‍टी यात्रा 2011’ केंद्रीय हिन्‍दी संस्‍थान,आगरा से भारी रेस्‍पांस के साथ शुरूआत हो चुकी है। यात्रा के दौरान नेत्रदान को बढ़ा देने के लिए पिछले फिल्‍म फेस्टिवल की फिल्‍मों का प्रदर्शन और अन्‍य गतिविधियां की जा रही हैं। इस तरह के कार्यक्रमों के साथ दृ‍ष्‍टी यात्रा 2011 भारत के 13 बड़े शहरों में होनी है। इस वर्ष की दृष्‍टी यात्रा में शामिल शहरों में दिल्‍ली,मुंबई,बेंगलुरु,चेन्‍नई,हैदराबाद,कोलकाता,लखनऊ,पटना आदि हैं। नेत्रदान को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्‍य से ‘अंतरदृष्‍टी‘ स्‍थानीय आई बैंक और अस्‍पतालों के साथ समन्‍वय कर रही है। इन यात्राओं में अब तक 468 लोग खुद नेत्रदान के लिए आगे बढे हैं और सर्टिफिकेट पा चुके हैं।
प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में ‘दृष्‍टी 2012’ टीम के सदस्‍य व वरिष्‍ठ पत्रकार प्रशांत टंडन ने कहा आने वाले महीनों में नेत्रदान को बढ़ावा देने के लिए समान विचारधारा वाले स्‍वयंसेवकों और संगठनों के साथ मिलकर कार्यक्रमों का विस्‍तार होगा। उन्‍होंने पत्रकारों से कहा कि इस क्षेत्र में काम के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर प्रस्‍ताव प्राप्‍त हुए हैं और विचाराधीन हैं।

गोल्‍डेन आई एवार्ड विजेता निवेदिता मजुमदार कोर टीम मे शामिल:

अंतरदृष्‍टी संगठन के सीईओ अखिल श्रीवास्‍तव ने ‘दृष्‍टी 2012’ की कोर टीम में निवेदिता मजुमदार को शामिल करने की घोषणा की। निवेदिता अपनी फिल्‍म ‘रितु वांट्स टू सी’ के लिए दृष्‍टी 2011 की गोल्‍डेन आई एवार्ड विजेता हैं। श्रीवास्‍तव ने बोर्ड में निवेदिता का स्‍वागत करते हुए कहा कि सुश्री मजुमदार संगठन के अभियान को अपने कौशल और लगन से नया आयाम देंगी।
नेत्रदान को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पहला फिल्‍म व क्रिएटिव कांटेस्‍ट और फेस्टिवल ‘दृष्‍टी 2011’ आगरा में 10 व 11 दिसम्‍बर 2011 को सेंट जोंस कॉलेज में शहर के सभी वर्गों के लोगों के जबरदस्‍त सहयोग से आयोजित किया गया था।

	After the grand success of Dishti 2011, Antardrishti has decided to continue it and we are gearing up for Drishti 2012. In the mean while on experimental basis we showed selected films and poster in two different locations of Agra to promote eye donation. An enthusiastic response of these two shows prompt us to organize a multi-city campaign for the promotion of eye donation. We are also developing a plan for this multi-city campaign with the name “Drishti Yatra 2012”. We know that we won’t be able to do this much without your support; therefore we are requesting you to do some volunteering for Drishti 2012. We are planning to launch Drishti 2012 contest on 22nd March 2012. If you are interested to promote Drishti 2012 contest in your area or can support by any mean please do email us before 20th March 2012 at volunteering@antardrishti.org with subject line “Volunteering – Drishti 2012”.
